DMCA Notice and Takedown Policy

Our Response to DMCA Notices

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, GameHub will:

  • Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
  • Notify the user who posted the allegedly infringing material
  • Provide the user with an opportunity to file a counter-notification
  • Follow the procedures outlined in the DMCA for addressing copyright infringement claims

Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that material you posted on GameHub was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification with our copyright agent. The counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that has been removed and the location where it appeared before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed in error
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district

Repeat Infringers

GameHub reserves the right to terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright. We will terminate user accounts in appropriate circumstances, such as when users repeatedly upload infringing content despite receiving warnings.
